The powerful prediction of big data technology is an important reason to introduce into public crisis prediction. In this paper, first of all, big data, public crisis prediction and the relationship between them is defined, and the article expounds to predict the characteristics of public crisis in the era of big data. Mainly it puts forward the public crisis prediction model and management strategy based on the technology of big data.
