发展创新型经济是一个国家或地区转变经济发展方式、形成持续发展动力的重要战略。借鉴国内外创新型经济发展的 经验及教训，总结创新型经济的内涵及特征，以摆脱传统经济发展方式的路径依赖为目标，从创新系统角度，提出产业、制度、文化、社会四个维度的系统路径理论，进而结合广东实际，提出广东省创新型经济的发展路径，提出具体对策。
