Abstract:In order to understand the research status and hotspots of marine science and technology at home and abroad, we find the gap between marine science and technology research at home and abroad. Based on the core literature of domestic and foreign databases in 1992-2018, the CiteSpace visualization software was used to map knowledge maps such as author cooperation maps, institutional cooperation maps, and research hotspot maps. The results show that the domestic publications lag behind foreign countries; the domestic marine science and technology research started late, the literature research influence is weaker than foreign countries; there are no authors and research teams with high yield and high influence at home and abroad; The main forces are distributed in colleges and universities, and mainly concentrated in the coastal areas with more developed economy; the research hotspots at home and abroad mainly include marine science and technology, marine fisheries, marine environmental protection, sustainable development, etc. Finally, according to the existing deficiencies, they are separately increased. Suggestions on financial support, building an academic exchange platform, and improving the education system.
