Abstract:The existing research on forestry ecological security has some problems, such as "ecology on the basis of ecology", not considering the industrial factors causing ecological security. It is a new exploration to measure the ecological security efficiency of forestry industry from the perspective of forestry ecology and industry symbiosis. Based on SBM-Malmquist model, the spatial and temporal dimensions of ecological security efficiency of forestry industry in 31 provinces of China from 2005 to 2014 were measured. The research shows that the technological efficiency of forestry industry is low and the development depends too much on the extensive expansion of scale; the improvement of technological efficiency alone cannot solve the problems encountered in the development of forestry ecological security, and the low index of technological progress has become the key to restrict the coordinated development of forestry industry and Forestry ecology in China; the development of forestry industry ecological security efficiency in different provinces is unbalanced and has its own emphasis. There are great differences in the emphasis of industrial policy adjustment, such as efficiency safety zone, technology efficiency-led efficiency double-high zone, scale efficiency-led low-level development zone and decomposition efficiency double-low zone.
