针对中小企业，尤其是工业基础薄弱的制造型企业在智能制造转型升级中快速识别自身短板并有针对性改进需要，结合精益化理论与智能制造理论，从精益化、自动化、数字化、智能化以及互联化5个维度构建中小企业智能制造能力成熟度评价模型，通过专家问卷以及层次分析法确定评价指标权重，并结合实际案例对模型进行验证。结果表明，案例企业智能制造综合评分为1.812分，智能制造能力成熟度等级为2级，正处于工业2.0初期，尚不具备向数字化、智能化发展条件，需进一步加大对精益化和自动化的投。由此可见，精益化和自动化发展仍然是企业发展的重点，是通往更高水平的提升方向。证明对于中小企业而言，精益化是走向智能制造的第一步。
