互联网的快速发展,渗透到了我国经济社会的方方面面,同时深深的影响着我国制造业的空间分布格局。本文基于新经济地理模型,采用面板数据,运用普通面板回归方法、工具变量法以及门槛非线性回归,研究了互联网对制造业集聚的影响方向与路径。研究发现,第一,互联网除了对制造业具有直接的吸引作用外,还通过提高知识溢出效应与市场潜力间接促进了制造业集聚;第二,门槛回归结果显示,互联网对制造业集聚的影响受经济发展水平与人力资本水平的调节与制约;第三,互联网对制造业的影响会随着地理区位的不同而呈现出不同的作用机制。

the rapid development of the Internet has penetrated into all aspects of China"s economy and society, and deeply affected the spatial distribution pattern of China"s manufacturing industry. Based on the new economic geography model, using panel data, ordinary panel regression method, instrumental variable method and threshold nonlinear regression, this paper studies the impact direction and path of the Internet on manufacturing agglomeration. It is found that, first, the Internet not only has a direct attraction to manufacturing, but also indirectly promotes manufacturing agglomeration by improving knowledge spillover effect and market potential; Second, the threshold regression results show that the impact of the Internet on manufacturing agglomeration is regulated and restricted by the level of economic development and human capital; Third, the impact of the Internet on the manufacturing industry will show different mechanisms with different geographical locations.
