基于组织记忆理论视角探讨企业如何通过数字化来避免创新所需知识的流失从而促进其突破式创新。具体而言,构建了以企业数字化、两种类型组织遗忘和突破式创新之间关系的理论框架。采用2018-2020年上证A股203家企业的面板数据,基于结构方程模型对提出的研究假设进行实证分析。研究结果表明:企业数字化能够通过提高企业的主动组织遗忘水平来增强其突破式创新行为,而在被动组织遗忘与突破式创新的负向关系中企业数字化起负向调节作用,因而也间接地促进突破式创新。后续经过内生性检验和稳健性检验后,结论依然成立。

Based on the perspective of organizational memory theory, this paper distinguishes unintentional organizational forgetting and intentional organizational forgetting, and discusses how enterprises can avoid the loss of knowledge required for innovation through digitization and enhance their breakthrough innovation. Specifically, it constructs a theoretical framework of the relationship between enterprise digitization, two types of organizational forgetting and breakthrough innovation. Based on the panel data of 203 enterprises in Shanghai A-share from 2018 to 2020, this paper makes an empirical analysis of the proposed research hypothesis based on the structural equation model. The results show that enterprise digitization can improve the breakthrough innovation behavior of enterprises by improving the level of intentional organizational forgetting, and in the negative relationship between unintentional organizational forgetting and breakthrough innovation, enterprise digitization plays a negative regulatory role, thus indirectly promoting breakthrough innovation. After endogenous test and robustness test, the conclusion is still valid.
