生态文明是我国生态社区建设的时代背景,为生态社区建设创造了有利的外部环境和历史机遇。生态社区建设是生态文明建设的重要基石,为生态文明宏伟目标的实现提供了微观层面的坚实基础。西方国家有关生态文明的理论研究和实践模式与我国国情有着比较大的出入,应根据我国的实际情况加以纠正和改良。同时,我国现阶段的生态社区建设模式与生态文明的时代要求比较起来依旧有着比较大的差距,生态社区建设仍未真正融入我国生态文明建设的时代范畴,妨碍了我国生态社区建设的规模扩展和深度发展。因此,我国新时期的生态社区建设,必须以生态文明的理念为指导,构建生态文明建设与生态社区建设协同发展的机制,制定符合我国国情的生态社区建设和评价模式,将生态社区建设与我国的城市化进程有机结合,实现生态社区建设过程中资源的高度区域共享,有效创建真正符合生态文明要求的生态社区建设模式。
