Abstract:Science and technology service platforms in Guangzhou professional towns started in 2000 and have been developing for 13 years. For the complexity of the data, the quantitative research on the situation of service platforms is not deep. Given this, this paper evaluates the platforms’ performance from four aspects: the environment outside the professional towns, the environment inside the professional towns, demand response, and service quality. Moreover, the paper carries on the quantitative analysis according to the latest survey data. The main result is as follow: science and technology service platforms in Guangzhou professional towns perform effectively and keep ahead in China. Unfortunately, the result also shows three problems: redundant construction, simple developing models and weakly synergy.
