社会变革时期社会价值观对大学科学技术活动的影响

摘要:

大学受到文化因素的深刻影响。作为社会文化核心的社会价值观对社会行为起到导向作用。社会变革时期,社会价值观往往会多样化和复杂化,其对社会行为的影响也是多元的。改革开放以后我国社会价值观呈现出新的特点,并对大学的科技活动产生双重影响。同样是受到功利主义社会价值观的影响,但由于学术界的内在文化的差异和体制的不同,功利主义的社会价值观对英国、美国和中国的科技活动造成的结果是不一样的。功利主义的社会价值观与功利性的学术文化内外结合、共同影响,是我国大学科技活动中急功近利行为的文化根源。要使大学的科技活动真正沿着创新的轨道前进,迫切需要社会文化的重建,特别是作为社会文化核心的社会价值体系的重建以及学术价值体系的重建。

Abstract:

The Universities have suffered from the profound impact of cultural factors. As a core of social culture, the social values play a role in guiding social behavior. In the period of social change, social values are often diverse and complex, and its impact on social behavior is also very diverse. After the reform and opening up, China"s social values show new features and have a double impact on university science and technology activities. The utilitarian social values have played an effect on Britain, United States and China, however, due to the academia inherent cultural differences and different system, the result of the impact of utilitarian social values on science and technology activities in these three countries is not the same. The combination and combined effect of the utilitarian social values outside and the academic culture inside is the cultural roots of impulsive behaviors in university science and technology activities. It is an urgent need to rebuild the social cultural, especially the social value system and the academic value system so as to make the science and technology activities in universities truly move forward along the track of innovation.
