Abstract:By studying cases and concluding phenomena, this article makes a study of the popular cab-hailing software in the developing trends, demand-meeting effect, industry-shocking effect, technology-depending effect, function alienation effect, regulation and governance style of new technology to analyze the social effects during the application of new technology. Research shows that new technology, which spreads rapidly because of its function in solving problems and meeting demands, is marketed strongly by capitals and communicated by public praise among masses of people. However, due to the functional deficit of technology, unfitness of crowds and incompatibility of supervision, new technology can bring about a series of positive and negative effects during the process of its rapid application. Therefore, as far as new technology and supervision of its effects are concerned, there have been diverse viewpoints such as market-dominant or government-dominant opinions.
