为了评价环境友好型社会发展状况,本文根据环境友好社会的内涵,在遵循综合评价指标体系构建的一般原则基础上,从环境影响总量、环境影响发展和环境保护潜力等三个方面,构建了环境友好型社会综合评价指标体系,并使用2011年统计数据,对广东省21个地级市行政区的环境友好型社会发展状况进行综合评价和聚类分析。研究结果表明：广东省21个地级市行政区的环境友好型社会发展状况可以划分为四类；在空间分布上,环境友好型社会程度相对较高的地区大多位于珠三角地区,而环境友好型社会程度相对较弱的地区大多位于粤东、粤西和粤北地区。这一研究结论对相关的政府部门决策具有重要的参考价值。

To evaluate the development of environment-friendly society, this paper is based on the connotation of environment-friendly society, and following the general principles of which are constructed on the comprehensive assessment indicator system, from the aspects of total environmental impact, environmental impact development and environmental protection potential, building a comprehensive assessment indicator system of environment-friendly society, and using statistical data of the year 2011, the comprehensive assessment indicator system and cluster analysis are applied to appraise the development situation of the environment-friendly society of 21 prefecture-level city in Guangdong Province. The results indicate that the 21 prefecture-level city in Guangdong Province can be divided into four groups. On the spatial distribution, regions with relatively higher degree of environment-friendly society mostly lie in the Pearl River Delta region, while regions with relatively lower degree of environment-friendly society mostly lie in the eastern, western and northern Guangdong. These conclusions have great referential value for the relevant government decision.
