基于国家自然科学基金的我国区域医学科学基础研究对比分析

A Comparative Analysis on the Regional Medical Science Basic Research in China based on NSFC

摘要:

国家自然科学基金是我国支持基础研究的最主要的渠道之一,被科研人员公认为国内最规范、最公正、最能反映研究者竞争能力的研究基金。国家自然科学基金项目的争取能力可以比较直观地反映出不同地区的基础研究水平。本文提出了基于获得国家自然科学基金资助能力的基础研究竞争力指数,并利用该指数及其他相关指标对我国医学科学基础研究的地理分布、大陆31省份竞争力及其变化情况进行了研究。研究结果表明：我国医学科研力量的地理分布非常不均匀,不同省份之间的竞争非常激烈,并推动我国医学科学基础研究整体朝着积极向好的方向发展。

Abstract:

The National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) is one of the most important channels to support the basic research in China. It has been recognized as one of the most regulated and most fair funds by researchers. The competitive capacity on NSFC has been a very important measure of the basic research level of regions. This paper proposes a new index, the NSFC based Competitiveness Index (NCI), which is used to analyze the geographic distribution of medical science basic research in Mainland China, and the competitiveness of 31 provincial areas, combined with some other relevant statistical indicators. The results show that: the geographic distribution of China"s medical science basic science research power is very uneven, and the competition among different provinces is quite fierce. In general, the development of China"s medical science basic research is moving towards a positive direction.
