新兴民生技术是高新技术在现有民生技术领域中的应用，它拥有民生技术的普遍使用性和高新技术的不可预料性等技术特质。新兴民生技术体系在民众生活中扮演着重要角色，对这类技术体系的研究和哲学思考有助于从研究对象、研究方法与研究旨趣等方面完善技术哲学的学科建设；有助于贯彻技术哲学的经验转向进路、突显技术哲学的实践向度。

Technological in New People's Livelihood means a class of new technology system which combined High-tech with current People's Livelihood Techniques. It owns a series characteristic that includes widespread use of traditional techniques and unpredictability of High-tech. Technological System in Transition act an important role in public life. Research Technological System in People's Livelihood contributes to improve the disciplines of technology of philosophy from aspects of object of study, research methods and research interests. It also can implement the approach of empirical turn in Philosophy of technology and highlight the practical dimension of philosophy of technology.
