Abstract:In order to ensure biosafety, biological waste must be treated scientifically. The research focus on the biological waste management and treatment of United States and Europe. Compare and analysis the characteristic and method of the biosafety laboratory waste disposal of the European and American biosafety laboratory from the aspects of laws(regulations) and standards. The results show that the two regions in biological waste there are strict requirements on the management. The EU is more streamlined and focused on the overall normative; at the same time, the United States emphasizes the various characteristics of research institutions to establish a regulation for their own requirements. Finally, combined with the characteristics of biological waste treatment in Europe and America, the available and actionable suggestions are offered.
