Abstract:Science and technology inducement prize (STIP) is non-periodic prize system which collects high-tech achievements in order to solve a specific problem. According to technical characteristics and funding sources of the aimed projects, collection channel is divided into three categories: government customization, enterprise recommendation, and network mass-recommendation. Channels of the government customization are suitable for the following situation: prize for urgent technical problem, prize for strategic planning project, and prize for subsidiary project. Channels of the enterprise recommendation are suitable for the following situation: prize for key technology, prize for industry generic technology, and prize for enhancing reputation. Network mass-recommendation are suitable for the following situation: prize for people’s livelihood project, prize for popularization of science and technology, and prize for public welfare project. We analyzed the features of each project collection channel, and based on which, we developed pricing mechanism correspondingly. Finally, we explored the possibility of generalizing and localizing STIP.
