Abstract:M-commerce diffusion in China shows obvious imbalances among provinces and regions. This paper analyzes the factors affecting China’s m-commerce diffusion in eastern regions and central -western regions respectively based on the partial least square method. The result of the analysis shows that the influencing factors of m-commerce diffusion for regions with different levels of economic development are not exactly the same. For the east region, urbanization level, informatization level, income level and education level are the significant factors; for the central and western regions, informatization level, the urbanization level, price and economic development level are the significant factors. The result indicates that the path to promote the diffusion of m-commerce for regions with different economic levels is different.
