Abstract:Based on the literature review, a hypothesis model of network capability, resource acquisition and performance of technology innovation is proposed. By taking 215 technology-based small and micro enterprises in Xi’an as samples, an empirical study on the model is conducted. The results show that technology-based small and micro enterprises network capability has a significant positive impact on information acquisition, knowledge acquisition and capital acquisition. Information acquisition and knowledge acquisition play a partial intermediary role in the relationship between technology-based small and micro enterprises network capability and performance of technology innovation. Capital acquisition has an insignificant impact on technology-based small and micro enterprises’ performance of technology innovation. The findings of this paper provide a beneficial guidance for technology-based small and micro enterprises’ technology innovation activities.
