Abstract:The publication of entrepreneurship education reflects the research capability of high school. Drawing on a multiple level of theoretical framework, we empirically examine key factors that determine the performance of entrepreneurship studies, which include macro institutional environment, middle-level social networks, and micro level elements within high schools. We go deep into the mechanism of those determinants. We find that the effect of macro institutional environment is not significant. However, the research foundations, entrepreneurship education institutes, networks between scholars improve the research capabilities of high schools. Meanwhile, social networks between the education institutes, and between scholars have positively moderation effects.
