Assessing and Managing Front-end Fuzziness in Innovation Project

摘要:

在认识新产品开发模糊前端重要性的基础上,给出了模糊前端的一般界定和模糊性的三种变化规律；并指出模糊前端对新产品开发具有正面和负面的影响；最后在对模糊性来源和特征的分析基础上,提出了一个三步骤的管理模型,以此帮助创新者对新产品开发中的模糊前端进行量化评价,从而提高企业的产品创新绩效。

Abstract:

Based on the reorganization of the importance of the FEF in innovation/NPD projects, this paper give the general definition of FFE, and the three patterns of dynamic fuzziness levels and to have both negative and positive effects on the success of an innovation/NPD project. In this context, based on the analysis of FFE nature and characters, a three steps management model is developed to help innovators to asses FFE quantitatively, so as to improve the innovation performance in innovation/NPD projects.
