Abstract:In recent years, as China increases its implementation on energy conservation and emission reduction of thermal power units, the majority of domestic thermal power units needs to be reformed; but most power plants are not aware of the potential for energy conservation and emission reduction, so they blindly input equipment and capital , resulting in a waste of resources. In order to evaluate power plants' energy conservation and emission reduction potential and situations from a reasonable perspective, first of all, it build a index system for thermal power plant energy saving and emission reduction based on characteristics of thermal power plant operating index; then it establish the evaluation model of energy saving and emission reduction in accordance with improved fuzzy matter-element analysis theory and Coefficients of weight Calculated by matter-element analysis theory AHP; In the end, it made a real case analysis on five sets of generating units from five plants. The results it obtained match the real situation, which indicates that the improved fuzzy matter-element analysis theory is of an unique advantage in evaluating energy conservation and emission reduction for electric generators.
