创新潜力的中心-边缘效应探析

Preliminary Research on Innovation Potentiality Effect of Center-Edge

摘要:

区位和地位对创新的影响一直以来是创新研究的重要议题之一。创新能力在不同层面的分布遵循“中心——边缘”结构的基本规律,处于中心不同地位的创新主体在创新潜力方面差异较大。本文首先在辨析“中心边缘”和“中心——外围”结构的基础上,提出了“中心边缘”这一特定的空间区位和社会群体地位,并分析中心、中心边缘与外围这三大空间区位和社会地位的创新能力。基于逻辑推演和理论综述,本文提出处于中心边缘空间区位和社会地位的创新主体比处于中心核心地位的创新主体往往具有更高的创新热情和创新潜力。最后,应用数据分析从空间、群体和企业三个层面通过对具体案例的解析实证检验了“中心边缘的创新潜力效应”,并分析了其发生和形成的内在机制。

Abstract:

The influence of location and status on innovation has always been one of the most important topics in the field of geography. The basic law that innovation capacity decreases from center to fringe has been proven in different aspects. However, innovation subjects at different statuses or locations differ a lot in terms of innovation potentiality. First, this paper distinguishes the conceptions of “Center Edge” and “Center-Fringe Structure”, defines the location and status of this specific “Center Edge” and analyzes the innovation capacities of center, center edge and edge from the perspectives of space and society. Second, this paper puts forward the hypothesis that innovation subjects at the center edge of space and society possess more passion and potentiality than the centered innovation subjects. Finally, this paper empirically analyzes this hypothesis by case studies from the aspects of space and social groups.
