基于已有研究产品市场竞争与技术效率之间关系的不一致性,以及高管技术背景研究的欠缺。以2004-2013年280家民营上市公司的数据为样本,利用SFA方法计算技术效率以及手工搜集的技术董事数据,研究了产品市场竞争、技术董事与技术效率之间的关系。结果显示,产品市场竞争和技术董事对技术效率具有显著的促进作用,产品市场竞争也提高了技术董事比例,技术董事在产品市场竞争对技术效率的促进作用中起到了部分中介作用。

Based on the existing research of inconsistent relationship between product market competition and technology efficiency and the lack of technical background of executives, By applying SFA method to calculate technical efficiency and collecting technical directors by hand, this paper uses the data of 280 private-owned listed companies in China from 2004 to 2013 to study the relation between product market competition, technical directors and technical efficiency. The results show that product market competition and technical directors have a significantly promoting effect on corporate technical efficiency. Furthermore, product market competition also improves the proportion of technical directors that play a partial mediation role on the promotion of product market competition to technical efficiency.
