The Illusion of Innovation-Driven Effect on Scale Expansion——The Proof Base on Industry Analysis

直觉上,规模扩张的速度越快,其创新驱动的效应也就越明显。事实上,这只是一种错觉。正好相反,创新驱动作用在迅速扩张的行业中作用并不明显,而在规模扩张速度较慢的行业中却效应显著。本文以行业数据为基础,实证检验了规模扩张与创新驱动的关系,并对结果做了理论说明。这一结果对创新政策的制定和实施,具有一定的借鉴意义。

Abstract:

Intuitively, when the speed of scale expansion is higher, its effect of innovation-driven is more significant. Actually, it is an illusion. The innovation-driven effect is not significant in rapidly expanding industries, but in slowly expanding industries it is significant. An empirical study on the relationship between scale expansion and innovation-driven is implemented by analyzing the industry data. Simultaneously, the results are explained by theory and some policy implications are discussed.
