Abstract:As a kind of scarce and strategic resource, carbon resource is essential foundation for economic and social development. To achieve the optimal allocation of resources, it is bound to depend on the progress of low carbon technologies. Through the construction of Double-nested CES function, this paper introduces carbon resources as a productive factor into the CES production function to measure the low carbon technology progress and production technology progress in China during the period of 1995-2014, confirmed the existence of the positive effect to reduce emissions of low-carbon technology progress. According to this, the essay makes an empirical research of its influencing factors to examine the underlying elements which affect the low-carbon development of technological progress, in order to provide some ideas for the improvement and development of China's low carbon technology.
