Abstract:The adoption of agricultural technologies is of great significance in accelerating the agricultural technology achievements transformation, improving agricultural productivity and promoting the construction of modern agriculture. This paper mainly analyzes some key factors that affect farmers to adopt agricultural technologies. On the basis of the research articles concerning the adoption of agricultural technologies, it is found that factors including government policies, economic development level, geographical environment, farmers’ endowment characteristics, household characteristics, farmers’ perception of agricultural technologies and technical characteristics, play a number of distinct roles in the process of farmers’ adopting new agricultural technologies. A range of suggestions and countermeasures are concluded to improve agricultural technology adoption. This review confirms that it is necessary to focus on improving farmers’ education level, agricultural technological usefulness and ease of use. What’s more, the relationship between agricultural technology and farmers’ technological demand deserves the attention of relevant departments, and political and technical-service environment need to be improved.
