Abstract:Postdoctoral job satisfaction plays an important role in the development of scientific research. Based on the survey of seven subordinate universities in Hubei province, the results show that job related factor is the main factor that affects the postdoctoral job satisfaction, the wages and benefits differences, research equipment condition, personnel training and fusion situation have significant effect on the postdoctoral job satisfaction. In addition to health, the other demographic characteristics and the identity background have no significant effect on the job satisfaction. To improve the postdoctoral job satisfaction, the station units should ensure they enjoy equal treatment as the formal staff, improve research conditions, strengthen personnel training management, promote their integration into the station unit, and pay attention to their physical and mental health.
