Abstract:This article deeply analyzes the connotation and denotation of science and technology innovation ability of universities, using the grounded theory and Nvivo10 qualitative analysis software,and works out a evaluation model containing 96 concepts, 20 categories, 8 main categories, 4 core categories on the basis of qualitative analysis combined with quantitative distribution of concepts and categories, and according to the number of reference points and material sources in the process of coding, formulates the weight coefficient of main categories and core categories, in order to offer reference to the evaluation of scientific and technological innovation ability of colleges and universities.
