哪些因素会驱使在为企业进行战略更新？到目前还没有形成一致的结论。研究利用长期案例研究，从活动系统视角探索在位企业启动战略更新的驱动因素。研究发现，相互依赖性内容（资源和信息）通过两种途径推动战略更新活动的启动，即微观的更新活动累积成战略更新和战略更新活动之间的互动；相互依赖性结构对企业战略更新的影响受到自身形成阶段及外部环境的调节。研究最后讨论了研究贡献和可能的局限。

What can initiate the strategic renewal? Until now,there is no consistent conclusions because of lack of longitudinal case study. Taking the firm as activity system, we make a longitudinal case study. The article finds that interdependence contents may help initiate strategic renewal in two different ways. While interdependence structures may promote or constrain strategic renewal dependent on the characteristic of environmental change and the life cycle of interdependence structures. When the firm encounter fit-destroying environmental change and the interdependence structure is in development, it will promote strategic renewal. If not, interdependence structure may lead to renewal inertia and hind strategic renewal. The case analysis also provides some suggestions for path breaking of strategic renewal.
