Abstract:The relationship between university–industry collaborations and innovation performance has become a hot issue on knowledge management research. Based on the literature review, it put forward a hypothetical model of the relationship between university–industry collaborations and innovation performance and got 39 independent empirical documents from major domestic and foreign literature database. By Meta-analysis, it reached the following conclusions: Firstly, it shows that there is a significant positive relationship between university–industry collaborations and innovation performance; Secondly, the influence on innovation performance may change with the alteration of time and cultural background. Thirdly, the university–industry collaborations has more obvious effect on innovation performance for the existence of multi-dimensional structure of independent variable and structure model. Finally, the existence of the mediating variables failed to significantly adjust the relationship between university–industry collaborations and innovation performance.
