The Direct and Indirect Influence of Rural Financial Development on Agricultural Science and Technology Progress

本文在理论分析的基础上剖析了农村金融发展促进农业科技进步的直接与间接作用，建立相应的结构模型，利用格兰杰因果关系检验对我国1991—2014年相关数据进行实证分析，结果表明：农村金融发展对农业科技进步有直接作用和间接作用，其间接作用是通过农业企业和农户这些市场化的农业科技进步主体来实现的。农村金融发展促进农业科技进步的关键不仅在于大力发展农村金融，还在于利用金融手段支持农业企业和农户这些市场化的农业科技进步主体。

Abstract:

This paper firstly discusses the direct and indirect influence of rural financial development on agricultural science and technology progress in the aspect of theoretical, secondly to build a structural model, and based on the time series data from 1991~2014 in china to make an empirical analysis by granger causality. The results show that, exist both direct and indirect influence of rural financial development on agricultural science and technology progress, the indirect influence is mainly resulted from the subject of agricultural science and technology progress such as agricultural enterprise and peasant household. As for rural financial development promote agricultural science and technology progress, the most important thing is not only to development rural financial but to support agricultural enterprise and peasant household by financial ways.
