Abstract:This paper using panel data of 30 provinces and autonomous regions(excluding Tibet、Hong Kong、Macao and Taiwan) in China from 2006 to 2015 having an empirical analysis on the influence of environmental regulation and private investment to green technology innovation in China. The results show that private investment has significantly promoted China's green technology innovation from the national point of view. The impact of environmental regulation on green technology innovation is negative. Regionally, the influence of private investment and environmental regulation on China's green technology innovation has regional differences, the eastern and western regions of the private investment significantly promotes the green technology innovation of our country, the impact of the central region is not significant; the impact of environmental regulation in the central and western regions of the green technology innovation is significant, but not significant in the east the result of. In addition, R&D investment, foreign direct investment, industrial structure and other factors have a positive impact on China's green technology innovation. However, China's human capital advantage is not obvious, can’t have a positive impact on China's green technology innovation.
