Abstract:218 postdoctor samples from Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences were taken as an example to research the factors influencing the standard for postdoctors to leave station after completing researches by means of Heckman two-stage model. The research shows the follows: the sample postdoctors’ leaving station after completing the researches is related to their duration at the station, and they still have huge potential in output of scientific research to be dug; the standard for postdoctors to leave station after completing researches are affected by significant variables such as research orientation, duration at the station, output of scientific research before entering into the station and the strict requirement of cooperative academic advisors, etc. Hence, these significant variables should be emphasized. Based on the research conclusion, on the basis of making the postdoctors’ duration at the station scientifically and reasonably, suitable postdoctors with excellent scientific research capacity should be recruited, and the responsibility system of cooperative academic advisors should be put in place practically to provide the advisors with more dominant right about permitting postdoctors to leave the station, so as to promote the improvement of postdoctors cultivated and the increment of output of scientific research.
