Abstract:By constructing the coupling coordination model using statistical data in 2006-2015, making research on coupling coordination relationship towards two subsystems, including scientific and technical innovation and economic development in each economic region in Guangdong. The study shows that the comprehensive order parameter value of these two subsystems appear relevantly similar growing trend. With highly positive correlation, comprehensive order parameter value about scientific and technical innovation subsystem increased faster than economic development. In the meanwhile, both coupling degree and coupling coordination degree of these two subsystems in each region represented rapid growth trend in this recent years, which both reached highly coupling or highly coupling coordination stage. It can be seen that there existed significantly interaction towards scientific and technical innovation and economic development in each economic region in Guangdong. On this basis, proposing insistency strategy that scientific and technical innovation drives economic development in each region, promoting both scientific and technical innovation capability and economic benefit relying on industry. Specifically, Pearl River Delta is supposed to deepen the reform of system, optimize the configuration of scientific and technical innovation resources, cultivating economic development propulsion, meanwhile, the rest region of Guangdong is supposed to heighten the supporting role of high-tech innovation during the process of industrial structure adjustment and upgrading.
