Abstract:S: The research, including the concept of individual innovative behavior and the relationships among variables, has been conducted in the previous study. However, the innovation research in the construction context is limited and many studies have been go on through the empirical methods. Thus, this paper introduces the computational experiment method to establish the model of behavior stimulation in construction innovation through the NetLogo platform, which is the innovation resource competition and cooperation model. The results indicate that, according to the engineering need, the individual innovative behavior could be activated through the innovation support, resource income, and promotion opportunity to facilitate more individuals to join in construction innovation. Moreover, the spiritual motivation of the individual development and the material motivation of the income are also equally important, which could stimulate the individual innovative behavior in construction projects.
