中国老科学家职业使命感的内涵及影响因素的案例研究

The Construct of Career Calling and Its Influencing Factors: A Case Study of the Chinese Old Scientists

摘要:

采用案例研究方法,对“老科学家学术成长资料采集工程”第一批出版的10本传记进行研究,旨在了解中国情境下,老科学家职业使命感的内涵结构与的影响因素。研究发现：(1) 职业使命感是一种高层次的职业动机,老科学家均具有较高的职业使命感；(2) 老科学家的职业使命感是在个体的内省反思与环境的交互作用中逐渐形成的,受到个人自身因素、组织、家庭因素与社会因素的影响,并存在“社会-组织-个人”三个层面的交融关联。研究合理利用了“采集工程”的研究成果,丰富和拓展了职业使命感的本土化概念及其影响因素的相关研究,对促进我国当代科研人员的职业成长具有重要的历史镜鉴意义。

Abstract:

Based on the method of case studies, we analyze ten biographies published firstly by the acquisition project of the old scientists’ academic development data, aiming at clarifying the connotation and influencing factors of career calling in Chinese context. Results show that: (1) career calling is a high-level career motivation, all the old scientist have a relative high level of career calling; (2) the old scientists’ career calling is gradually formed by the interaction between individual’s introspection and the contexts, and relates to personal factors, organizational and family factors, and national factors, which has a three levels correlation, namely “social-organization-personal”. Research properly uses the results of the acquisition project, enriching and expanding its native connotation and the related researches of influencing factors.
