Abstract:Based on the survey data of 388 farmers, this paper constructs binary choice Logit model for farmers to adopt straw returning technology respectively, and analyses the effects of stimulation influencing of policy tools. Results show that three kinds of policy tools, such as supervision and punishment (SP), subsidies and information induction (II), have positive effects on the adoption behavior of farmers. To further verify the effect of policy tools to stimulate in different regions, farmers’ adoption behavior is respectively compared in two regions belongs to the Southwest (non-plain) and North China Plain in the sample, results show that SP and II play an active role in the two areas, and effectively stimulate farmers to adopt the technology. Effect of subsidies incentives in the non-plain area is not significant, but it plays a positive effect in the plain area. Based on the above conclusions, some suggestions are put forward.
