智慧城市能否提高经济效率

Can smart city improve economic efficiency?Quasi natural experiment based on smart city construction

摘要:

目前针对智慧城市对城市经济效率影响的研究还尚显缺乏。本文基于智慧城市建设这一准自然实验,利用双重差分方法估计了智慧城市对城市经济效率的影响。本文结论认为智慧城市建设能够显著提高城市经济效率,在2012年实行智慧城市试点期间,实施智慧城市战略的城市相对于未实施这一战略的城市的经济效率高出了1个百分点左右。最后本文基于这一结论提出了相应的政策建议。

Abstract:

the research on the impact of smart city on urban economic efficiency is still lacking. This natural experiment based on this quasi smart city construction, using the difference-in-difference method to estimate the influence of the wisdom of the city on the city"s economic efficiency. This paper concludes that the construction of smart city can significantly improve the economical efficiency of the city. during the implementation of smart city pilot in 2012, the implementation of smart city strategy of the city to implement the strategy of city economic efficiency by about 1 percentage points. Finally, based on this conclusion, some policy suggestions are put forward.
