Abstract:SMEs can be divided into technological and non-tech SMEs. Currently, non-tech SMEs account for a large proportion, and has always been an important part of SMEs. Affected by the environment of policy and people’s perception, non-tech SMEs has disadvantage on accessing resource and technological service. There are still many problems and in S T industry in terms of improving innovation capability of non-tech SMEs. Based on the view of innovation process, the role of S T industry in the innovation process of SMEs has been summed up. Focusing on innovative features and demand of non-tech SMEs, the promotion strategies of non-tech SMEs innovation has been proposed.
