Abstract:Base the perspective of leadership behavior to explore the impact of sub project leader’s cooperation tendency among leader of major scientific research projects on the teamwork quality. Through a questionnaire survey of 20 major research project teams in Southern China region, the study finds that leadership behavior participation oriented, performance oriented and maintenance oriented have positive significant effect on team cooperation quality. sub project leader completely effect the relationship of participation oriented and maintenance oriented on teamwork quality, but have no effect on the relationship of performance oriented on teamwork quality. The results show that improving teamwork quality not only need to establish a reasonable system of leadership, play professional advantage of team leader, but also to establish good communication and incentive mechanism, improve the enthusiasm of sub project leader.
