Abstract:The national independent innovation ability mainly depends on the strength of science and technology innovation personnel. This paper studies the spatial agglomeration and spillover effect of scientific and technological innovators in China and its related influencing factors through spatial econometric analysis, by means of GeoDa software and R language. The results show that, the scientific and technological innovators in China have spatial correlation and spatial dependence, showing spatial aggregation effect and spillover effect, mainly due to the level of regional economic development, the level of scientific research environment, the level of culture and education and the level of urbanization, in addition to the concentration of scientific and technological personnel in neighboring areas.
