Abstract:Regional innovation has obvious spatial correlation and process dynamics, which leads to the evolution of the spatial pattern of innovation. By the spatial econometric analysis tools, the evolution characteristics and influential factors of regional innovation output spatial pattern in China from 2005 to 2015 are analyzed empirically. The preliminary results show that: Firstly, the regional innovation output in China is characterized by the stage of spatial agglomeration, and 2011 becomes an important node in the transition of spatial agglomeration. Secondly, the degree of innovation agglomeration shows the difference among the east, middle and west zone. Thirdly, China’s regional innovation presents a certain tendency of spatial expansion, but the region has insufficient pulling power. Fourthly, there are regional differences in the impact of regional innovation inputs on regional innovation output, and regional innovation market demand and regional innovation environment have a positive impact on the overall regional innovation output. The above research results have certain reference value for the adjustment of regional innovation policy in China.
