Abstract:The problem of environmental pollution brought about by rapid economic development, which restricts the sustainable development of economy, agglomeration externalities of combination of industry from the industrial development cycle theory, with panel data of 73 years 2008-2015 PM2.5 focus on monitoring the city, an empirical test of industrial agglomeration threshold effects, on the haze pollution research found that: (1) the industrial agglomeration has significant dual threshold effect of haze pollution, when the industrial agglomeration level in the first and third interval, industrial agglomeration has significant positive externalities; when the level of industrial agglomeration in the second threshold interval, industrial agglomeration on haze pollution showed positive effects, but not significantly. (2) The intensity of environmental regulation was negatively correlated with the fog and haze pollution. Then we put forward policy recommendations that focus on the dynamic evolution of industrial agglomeration, dynamically adjust the level of industrial agglomeration, formulate harsh environmental regulation policies, and guide industrial green transformation.
