Abstract:The adoption of green control techniques are of great significance for ensuring the safety of agricultural products and protecting the ecological environment. Based on the survey data of 265 citrus farmers in Hubei Province, this study uses the theory of planned behavior and the method of hierarchical regression analysis to explore the psychological attribution of farmers'' green control techniques adoption. The results revealed that: 1) Behavioral attitude, social norm and perceived behavioral control had positive influence on farmers’ adoption behavior of green control techniques. 2) Farmers’ awareness of safety and responsibility significantly regulated the relationship between behavioral attitude, perceived behavioral control and the adoption behavior of green control techniques. The results provide a theoretical basis for popularizing green control techniques.
