Abstract:This paper is based on the invention patent data of 71 universities and enterprises in Jiangsu,Shanghai, Zhejiang and Anhui province, which have been published by the state intellectual property office in 2012-2016,using social network analysis method and analyzing the spatial distribution characteristics and network structure characteristics of patent cooperation network.The study find that the cooperation degree of patent cooperation between the four provinces is quite different and it shows the characteristics of uneven spatial distribution:Jiangsu Province ranks first in the total number of university-Enterprise patent cooperation, the number of colleges and universities entering social network and the frequency of cooperation between universities and enterprises, Shanghai wins the second place, Zhejiang Province wins the third place and Anhui Province wins the lowest place.Otherwise,"985/211" types of colleges and universities have more cooperation than ordinary universities, and the number of cooperation between science and engineering/comprehensive universities is higher than that of normal universities and financial institutions.
