Abstract:Based on China"s 34 industries panel data of the two phase of the sample analysis from 2001 to 2010 and 2011 -2016,this paper empirically explores the differences between environmental regulation and market demand on eco-technology innovation in different types of industries. The research shows that in heavily polluted (demand-driven) industries, the impact of environmental regulation on industrial eco-technology innovation has shifted from suppression to promotion,in light pollution (technology-driven),environmental regulation has a significant positive impact on industry eco-technology innovation. In addition to heavy pollution (technology-driven) industries, market demand has a significant positive impact on eco-technology innovation in other types of industries.
