Abstract:To meet people's growing needs for exquisite environment and safeguard people's ecological rights and interests are the core essential of the construction of ecological civilization in the new era of socialism. Accurately realizing the spatial structure and influencing factors of ecological well-being performance is of great value to achieve this strategic goal. In this paper, we use SBM-DEA super efficiency model, Getis-Ord Gi* index and panel Tobit regression model to analyze the ecological well-being performance, characteristics of spatial classification, regional evolution of hot and cold spots and influencing factors of 30 provinces (cities and districts) from 2004 to 2016 in the perspective of green technology innovation. The results show that: (1) Provincial ecological well-being performance show a slight downward trend from 2004 to 2016, the difference in performance level and the range of change is significant among regions. (2) The level of EWP of many provinces and cities in the eastern region reduced from relative efficiency to relative nullity in 2004-2016, it shows the imbalance between economic level and the ability to utilize ecological resource; (3)The number and structure of hot and cold spots of ecological well-being performance is unevenly distribute in 2004-2016, this result presents a significant spatial heterogeneity; (4) The green technological innovation has a significant positive effect on the ecological well-being performance, and the promotion of ecological well-being performance through green technological innovation is the significant way to achieve sustainable development.
