Abstract:Exploring the relationship between technological innovation and the competitiveness of Hubei Province high-tech industries, and analyzing the specific paths of technological innovation affecting the competitiveness of high-tech industries, which will help the development of Hubei Province high-tech industries toward higher quality;and use the high-tech industry subdivision industry data of Hubei Province for 2002-2016, based on structural equation modeling(SEM), and AMOS software are used to test the overall path of technological innovation to promote the high-tech industry and calculate the effect values of each specific path. The study found that: technological innovation has a positive effect on the improvement of the competitiveness of Hubei Province high-tech industries, the role of the market demand structure upgrade path is most significant, the role of the scale strength improvement path is the next, and the effect of the production efficiency improvement path is the least,the role of structural lift paths is not significant.
