Abstract:In the face of changing environment, only by improving creativity can organizations achieve sustainable competitiveness, and as the foundation of organizational creativity, individual creativity is influenced by knowledge hiding. According to the theory of knowledge connection, individual creativity comes from the connection and interaction of knowledge, and the connection and interaction of knowledge exist in the interpersonal relationship of trust. The theory of social exchange explains that knowledge concealment leads to a lack of network connection of organizational knowledge resources through the generation of a ring of mistrust, thus hindering the formation of individual connection knowledge and thus leading to a decline in creativity. This knowledge hidden "boomerang effect" reduces individual creativity and ultimately affects the creativity of the organization as a whole. Managers should strengthen the construction of work atmosphere, organizational culture, management model and technical platform to minimize the hidden behavior of organizational knowledge.
