Abstract:On the basis of the theoretical analysis of technological innovation affecting the industrial structure optimization and upgrading, constructing technical innovation evaluation indicators ,introducing three different types of spatial weights,and selecting 30 provincial panel data in China from 2000 to 2015 for space Dubin Model empirical test.The results show that technological innovation not only promotes the local industrial structure, but also contributes to the rationalization of neighboring areas.However, it has both inhibitory effect and promotion effect on advancement in neighboring areas.The inter-provincial technological innovation and industrial structure have significant spatial correlation,and the industrial structure advancement has a positive spillover effect while the industrial structure rationalization has a negative spillover effect.Technological innovation can act on local and other regional industrial structures through a direct path and three indirect paths formed by spatial spillover effects. There are large regional differences in the direction and intensity of technological innovation on industrial structure.Accordingly, the effect of "first enrichment, second enrichment" of enhancing industrial structure through technological innovation can be realized through policy guidance.
